1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PawLend ("the Protocol"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Protocol.

2. Description of Service

PawLend is a decentralized, non-custodial lending protocol deployed on the Retrochain EVM. The Protocol allows users to:

• Supply cryptocurrency assets to earn interest
• Borrow cryptocurrency assets against supplied collateral
• Participate in governance (if applicable)

3. Risks

• Smart Contract Risk: Code vulnerabilities may result in loss of funds
• Liquidation Risk: Your collateral may be liquidated if health factor drops below 1.0
• Market Risk: Cryptocurrency prices are highly volatile
• Oracle Risk: Price feeds may be manipulated or fail
• Network Risk: Blockchain congestion may prevent timely transactions
• Regulatory Risk: Legal status may change in your jurisdiction

4. No Warranty

THE PROTOCOL IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. We make no representations about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of the Protocol. Use at your own risk.

5. Non-Custodial

PawLend is a non-custodial protocol. You retain full control and responsibility for your private keys and wallet. We cannot access, recover, or transfer your funds.

6. Fees

The Protocol charges fees on borrowing interest and liquidations. Fee structures are transparent and encoded in the smart contracts. 20% of protocol fees are automatically donated to cat rescue initiatives through the PawShare program.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Protocol to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Engage in market manipulation or wash trading
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities for personal gain
• Interfere with other users' access to the Protocol
• Launder money or finance terrorism

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PROTOCOL DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Protocol developers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Protocol or violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Protocol constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
